Body type: tall and skinny

So this is for all you tall and skinny guys out there that think that wearing an oversized T-shirt will make you look wider. The key is knowing what works with your body type and having the clothes tailored to your size.

It is really important to make sure your shirt are not too big and not too tight. stay away from V-neck T-shirts and when it comes to dress shirts choose the ones with a spread collar. You can also enjoy the optical illusion created by horizontal stripes that will make you look wider.

Do not be tempted by trying the skinny jeans trend, they will only accentuate your slim legs. instead wear straight cut trousers.

A great little trick is wearing structured jackets with a little built in shoulder pads, They will make you look wider. This body type is one of the few that can get away with wearing double breasted coats and chunky knits.

Body type: Big

being a big guy doesn't mean you can look sloppy!. You can look a stylish as anyone.
The key is to take the time to find the clothes that fit you properly.

Wearing a shirt over a cool t-shirt will create horizontal line that will slim your torso and camouflage your belly. Avoid busy prints and vertical strips that will only make you look bigger.

Wear straight cut pants instead of baggy ones. Avoid tight belts and do not tuck your shirt in your pants!

You can go crazy in the shoes department just make sure the shoes look proportional to your body (not to narrow and not too wide).

Body type: short and skinny

Boys (and girls) come in all shapes and sizes and we should all learn to dress accordingly.
If you have a small body type, you have often a hard time finding clothes to suite you. In this post I will show you how to look good even if you look like a hobbit.

Jackets are a good way to add some volume to your shoulder area.

Pay attention to the length of the jacket, you don't want it to be to long and over sized or it will make you look even smaller.

Trousers: pick the slimmer kind of trousers and tailor the length.

Do not wear baggy pants, again, it would swallow you up. avoid too much break - it will make you look sloppy and shorter than you are.

A little trick you can use especially in the winter are boots. You can often find thick sole boots at the stores when it's getting colder, these will give you a little extra height without wearing man heels.
